Valerie Rogers
Over the past 28 years Valerie has organised almost 600 teddy bear shows through her USA-based organisation Bright Star Promotions. Valerie is also publisher and executive editor of the Bears and Buds webzine which has been available since 2005 and which also stages the annual URSA Awards competition for teddy bear and soft sculpture artists.
Terry & Doris Michaud
Doris and Terry started making teddy bears back in 1977 and have only recently stopped producing their Carrousel Bears. Over the years they have written many books on bear making and teddy bear price guides as well as contributing countless articles to various teddy bear publications. They are still in business with their Teddy Bear Tours and they are currently working on a worldwide survey of the teddy bear collecting market with the results due to be published later in 2010.
